C. L. Zeno is the creator of Drunk Mom, a superhero/day-in-the-life comic about a single mother who is a recovering alcoholic by day and vigilante by night. Along with her intern, Craig, they find themselves in way over their heads taking on organized crime in their city. Never getting much sleep, Monica is accused of relapsing by her coworkers, boss, and her son’s principal even though she’s years sober! Since she can’t tell them the truth, she just has to keep doing her best and accept the nickname “Drunk Mom.”
Currently, a Drunk Mom zine (Drunk Mom #4.1 – Along For The Ride) and a Drunk Mom crossover comic are available! The Avandrus Theory #1 crosses over with the Drunk Mom universe.
There are 12 issues that are written for Drunk Mom at the moment. Drunk Mom #1 production is in progress and the Kickstarter is going live on Nov 1st, 2024. Issues 3-5 of The Avandrus Theory will be sprinkled in between production of those 12 issues.
There are plans for Drunk Mom 2 (a sequel) and a Hohlraum spin-off sci-fi comic. But those are several years away.
